Nawar was called to the bar in March of 2022, and practices exclusively in the area of criminal defence litigation.
Nawar is fluent in both Arabic and English. He grew up between Syria and Canada, and thus has a mother-tongue competency in both English and Arabic (Classical Fus-ha, Modern Standard, and Syrian dialect).
Nawar takes pride in his care for his clients’ needs. Some of the hardest times anyone has to face include contact with the criminal justice system. Nawar understands this and works diligently to ensure your needs are met and you are properly informed every step of the way.
Nawar has a Masters in Philosophy focusing on Social Contract Theory and Constitutional Division of Power, and combines his theoretical background and his practical experience to argue for your rights.
